Version string in remapped rom:
"VoiceLive 1.3"

Just like in almost all other TC-Helicon things, user presets are stored in the system flash.
It definitely isn't a safe practice to do it this way, but it is the way it is.

I've added a remapped bin image of the main rom (tchelicon_voicelive_v1-30_remapped.bin) so you can peek inside the
main firmware in the form where it makes sense and text strings are readable.
Do not use this remapped file for burning, though - it won't work for sure.

Also notice that it has not that much in regards to factory reset, reflashing or tests as those things seem to be
in the front microncontroller. There are a very few strings in regards to tests, but nothing detailed.

Front panel microcontroller (some atmel in PLCC44 package - tchelicon_voicelive_front_v0-23_mcu.jpg) has not been red out yet.
It contains and can do significantly more than just a panel piece should, since it can reflash the main board and is
the one running factory reset and most likely the detailed test mode and update, so it certainly is absolutely vital for booting the device.

If you have successfuly dumped the front mcu or found the factory test mode for any of TC-Helicons, let me know.

To enter factory reset mode at boot, press and hold [PREV]+[NEXT] while powering on.
Display will show "VWF PSDC Firmware v0.23" - and that is the front panel microncontroller displaying this, instead of
main board. "VWF" most likely means "VoiceWorks Floortop".
You can then release [PREV]&[NEXT], turn the encoder to select what to clear and then [EDIT] to confirm.
